I opted for this unit over many of the others I researched for its mix of features, brand reputation, warranty, and price range. Once it was delivered I had it assembled and running in minutes. Initially, I was a bit disappointed to discover the number of plastic components that were part of the construction. It “felt cheap” as I was putting it together. I may find myself upgrading some of the plastic parts(such as the wand handle) to something better, or I may be forced to do so as these parts wear out. Once I had it running (it started on the first pull of the cord) and tested it out on some surfaces, it did exactly what I needed it to do. The low pressure additives (soap, chemicals) inlet hose works great.

I was highly impressed with this little drum machine. It has great sounds, a lot of sounds availible, and it’s extremely durable and compact.

You of course, need the pedals which are extra, but Roland makes some nice, inexpensive ones, I think mine were 70 bucks each. The only problem with them is that they tend to slide a bit when you play.

On the con side, as with Roland, this complany is Japanese, and as with Roland, it becomes very clear that English is not their first language when you try and read the owner’s manual. However, with a lot of poking around and many times of re-reading, you can learn Alesis Performance Drum Pad. it’s well worth it anyway.

I recently purchased the Eazy Mow wheels for my Troy Bilt Lawn Mower. I installed them with no trouble. I had to drill a couple of holes but that was easy enough. It is so much easier mowing with a zero turn mower. I have a bad back and the first time I used the new wheels I found that I didn’t need the heating pad when I was finished. I’m surprised other reviewers haven’t commented on how wonderful the rocking feature is for young babies. We had a Co-Sleeper for our first child but were given this mini crib for our second. What an upgrade! When DD was a newborn, this crib saved me 30-50% of night wakenings. We kept the crib next to the bed and if she started fussing I could stick out one finger and gently rock the crib to get her back to sleep without even opening my eyes. Also, our first child was hard to get to sleep and after 30-45 minutes of soothing and rocking chair he would finally fall asleep only to wake up as we transfered him into the co-sleeper. If we had had this crib, we could have rocked him to sleep right in the crib with no transfer to wake up from! My daughter is one year old, still sleeps in the crib and has plenty of room. Definitely get a 50-coil mattress to go with it.

I decided to go with the DM6, and I am very pleased that I did. The build quality is great. Like other reviewers, I noticed some quirks (like missed hits). I already knew that I might need to update the firmware, so I did and the quirks went away. All you need is a computer (Windows) with a USB cable. The instructions for upgrading the firmware are not as clear as I would like, but it was fairly straight forward. You might want some help from a friend if you have never done this before.
