I bought this for my daughter, who as a college student, is often visiting friends in other cities. It is excellent for city driving or the end of a journey, where she needs really specific directions to get to someone’s house, or a restaurant–and she really appreciates the names of the streets being spoken. That probably is the best feature. She needed it on Alligator Alley when she was running out of gas–it gave her directions to a gas station, and the distance. Of course, she should never have been on AA with a low tank, but did I mention she is a college student, and smart, but also dumb. It has everything she needs, no frills that she doesn’t need, and it was a reasonable price. I do wish it came with a plug-in charger for an electrical outlet. She has to charge it in her car.
