I am really pleased with this vacuum. It may not be fancy or have lots of bells and whistles but it gets the job done well. The sucking power is amazing. I feel like my carpet is really clean and free from pet hair. All the attachments work well and get into all the nooks and crannies of a home. I am very happy with the vacuum and the price that I paid for it. I haven’t had any problems with it and I don’t have any complaints about it at this time. I recommend it highly.

I bought this book searching for action and fun, not a dreary story about how some scheming, horrible kid captures and practically tortures a fairy for money. Near the end of the book, I was hoping the fairies would win and wipe out the inhabitants of the Fowl Manor, especally the evil (and somewhat bratty) main character.
Some of the writing was confusing,too. I’ll never understand how the blue-rinse didn’t work. The sleeping pills were for the stopped time! I’m planning on reading the next book, and I hope it’s not as disappointing and depressing as this one.

This is a good carrier for the Garmin 750. It’s very small and came with a wristband (not sure why). If you plan on carrying the garmin alone with some sd cards, then this is perfect for you. There is no room for the usb cable or car cable without possibly damaging the screen of the garmin itself. Otherwise It’d get 5 stars. Otherwise its very well made and will do the job.

Selects routes that are absurd. Takes you off a freeway and through 10 miles of city streets. Took me off of a state highway which went directly to my destination and routed me on county roads for 30 miles. Will not find any intersection that has a grade separation. Instead of using highway numbers it uses street names.

After a few years and little use, the batteries are useless, 3 minutes operation after full charge. Garmin now wants $69.00 for a swap out unit. If you really want one of these turkeys, buy one “as is” used and then send it to Garmin and get a swap out for $69.00 more.

Men are infamous for NOT asking directions. This device makes it possible to uphold that reputation and STILL get there. I’m computer literate, but circa 1990. I wouldn’t know a blue tooth if it bit me so I probably will never use this GPS to it’s maximum. But I do know that I could just turn it on and in my first outing off the beaten path it directed me to a dirt road I never would have found on my own using detailed local maps.

I bought this for my wife but she is out of luck; besides, she doesn’t mind asking directions.

This book was not as bad as I expected and not as good as I’d hoped. I am absolutely not the target demographic, but at the insistence of a friend I read the entire Twilight series. In a single weekend. It is by no stretch of the imagination heavy literature, there is nothing thought-provoking or worldview-altering about this story. At the end of this book, I felt like I had just proofread a high school junior’s creative writing final. It wasn’t unforgivable, just disappointing. The general outline of this story could have yielded an excellent novel in the hands of a better writer. To her credit, Meyer improved vastly between the first and second books. If you’re interested in a fluffy, nonsensical “love” story and aren’t bothered by simpering heroines and obnoxious male martyr/heroes, Twilight is a respectable choice. Experienced readers beware: it is rife with ham-handed metaphors and gratingly transparent “twists.”

It feels a bit like Meyer is attempting to rewrite Romeo and Juliet with vampires instead of Montagues, but she falls short of the mark in almost every way. The true failing of this book and the reason I could never really enjoy it is that the reader is expected to take the characters and their Instant Soulmate romance so very, very seriously. Both the charm and the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet was in the impulsiveness of its title characters. They were young and foolish, and while we allowed them to take themselves seriously, the audience was able to sit back and shake their heads a bit at the folly of young love. Twilight offers no such disconnect for the reader, expecting us to believe just as firmly as Bella and Edward that they are truly meant to be, and that she can truly make – at 17 years old – rational, objective decisions about the rest of her existence.
